I am looking for a new all around laptop... I'm not into any photo or video editing more any hard core games but i need something is will be reliable and will last me for a good 2-3 years if not longer. I mostly work with ms office and powerpoint presentations and youtube and etc internet oh i have an iPad air2 so i mostly use that to view mail and faceboook and what now but i need something that has more power that an iPad air 2

i thought of getting these but I'm kind of concern if the conjuration i did is too much

If you have the money, go for it, but I would suggest looking at B&H Photo for the mid 2014 models. They are hundreds less than your choices, and tax free unless you live in NY or NJ. Free 2 day shipping as well. Your uses have no need for these kind of specs. I have a Late 2013 rMBP, i5, 8, 128 and it easily handles everything I throw at it, including Handbrake. Just a suggestion.

Even a $300 laptop could do what the OP wants to do.

Edit: The OP could buy a durable used laptop as well
