I just bought a new color laser printer from newegg. Normally, I don't buy extended warranties so when I bought this printer, I opted out of the third-party warranty that newegg offered with it. I've had a change of heart and am thinking that with the workload on the printer, I'd like to buy an extended warranty.

Unforunately, even though the printer hasn't been delivered yet, newegg can no longer sell me the extended warranty on it.

Are there any reputable third-party warranty companies out there that would provide an extended warranty on a color laser printer?

Interesting question. Squaretrade handles a lot of smaller vendors, including ebay. You might check with them to see if they can pick it up.

Squaretrade!

I just got a three-year warranty on my new color laser/multifunction printer for a discounted price of $36. Sweet.
