Any thoughts on my situation?

Here's the story:

My MBP was shipped on July 6 (Tuesday) and it originally gave me a delivery date of July 14. Well about 3 hours later, the delivery date changed to July 9 (tomorrow). I was pretty excited, but since yesterday it kept changing from July 9 to July 12 (the Monday after). I really want my MBP before the weekend. Well now my deliver date has just disappeared, so I dont know when I will get it

It is custom built so it did ship from China, and I live in Canada (Alberta). Its shipping via UPS and here is the UPS tracking info:

It is in Louisville right now (according to this) and I assume it will go to Ontario then to my city. Is it safe to say I will get it tom?

Thanks to anybody who can help, I will update this if it changes. Also I am only getting about 1 update every 12 hours...is this normal, or should it be updating more frequently?

I was having weird issues with Fedex recently where they haven't been updating their page. Depending on how busy their airplanes are, it can vary. You can always call fedex and provide them your tracking number to see if they can provide you with a better timetable. You can always say you need to prepare for being at home for the shipment and need to know a couple days ahead. They can't provide a faster shipping time, but they can probably tell you a more definite delivery date.

Along with my MBP, I also ordered the free iPod Touch and a mStand.

Well, both items have not been updated for 2 days! The latest update for both is:

CONCORD, ON, CA 07/06/2010 9:42 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN (The departure time for the iPod is 00:02)

So according to this, they have been on a plane for almost 2 days since there is not arrival date afterwards? Umm last time I checked, Ontario was like a 5 hour flight from where I live...

Just wait til July 14th. If it isn't there, then complain.

UPS is normally really fast, sometimes the dates disappear whenever customs is involved.

The MBP I ordered in May made it from China to southern Germany (rather remote area) in 31 hours. So there is some hope for you. But you can't really do anything until July 14th has passed. Best of luck.

Well my delivery date has disappeared. Are you saying it could be in customs? From what I heard, customs can take like 10 days to complete.

EDIT: Finally I get an update for my iPod Touch. Just arrived in my city, states delivery for tom. Now only if the computer will update! Heres to hoping it will deliver tomorrow with the iPod!
