I just ordered the 13" entry level macbook pro. Very excited to get it, as this will be my first mac.

Can anyone give me some tips battery care, software, must-have apps, security, etc.?

Theres always going to be someone that will say you should of got this model or that model of laptop instead. Dont listen to em, and enjoy what you bought. Thats my advice.

I've had my eye on a Macbook Pro for years now. I plan on upgrading to an SSD and adding extra ram in the future. I also needed the DVD drive. So, I'm very happy with the decision.
