I'm looking to see what all the hype is with the Metal API, but I am having a hard time finding anything that actually uses it. It sounds like Blizzard is going to be using it, but not as of yet. Anyone care to point out any Game Titles that actually use it?

Thank you.

Nothing could be using it yet in release form considering El Capitan is not releasing until the 30th. Even then I do not think any game utilizing the Metal API has been announced with a ship date this early on.

I was hoping there would be a couple launching titles to showcase its capabilities when El Capitan Final was out. Well, looks like i'm back to the waiting game.

In Snow Leopard, Grand Central Dispatch was one of the new OS features and I thought products like Handbrake would use it. Have not seen any products that use that technology on a Mac. I am hoping Metal will be more widespread.

GCD is used by many apps that don't advertise it. For example, NSOperation is a common Cocoa class that uses GCD.
