Any trick to trying to reseve a 4S at the Apple store.

Interested in an off contract 4S. Anytime I log onto the Apple store at 9pm I cannot get through then by the time I can everything is unavailable. Been trying for a week now.

i've been trying as well .
i thought i'd just show up @ the store and see.
i wonder how well best buy / att stores are stocked?

I used the Apple Store App on my iPhone to reserve mine last night. The website was slammed, but I was able to get in using the App.

Thanks. I will try the apple store app on the iPhone. I figure many Chinese in the US are trying to reserve them using the website to pickup and ship back to Asia since they found out off contract phones are unlocked lol. I live in the bay area so plenty of competition.

in Asia the iPhone 4S will be released this Friday and many countries iPhone 4S is unlocked (even the contract ones) example Singapore. Simply there is a high demand for the iPhone 4S not like iPad 2 scalping.

Next time Apple should release the iPhone 5 in all the important market including Hong Kong, Taiwan and main land China (and may be South Korea)

GDP lists, China and India are mainly prepaid market but there are other countries where iPhones 4S not on sale on the very first day.
