Any UK-folks? How can I permanently unlock iPhone on Orange UK.

I recently bought an iPhone 3GS from a UK seller. However, he lied about it not being locked to any carrier. I assume it's locked to orange, as that's what the "Service"-bar indicates in his pictures, so I wondered what's the cheapest way to permanently unlock it from abroad? (I'm in Denmark)

you could have returned it, since it was: item not as described.

I think you have to have been with Orange for 3 months and pay £15 to get it unlocked, for PAYG iirc.

Go to your carrier's shop they should be able to unlock it.

On Orange, O2 and 3 you shouldn't have problems.
