Any UK imported OWC Ram?

I'm interested in 2x 2GB rams for the new iMac.
Critical want £187.99 but I've calculated that importing it from:

Will cost me £127 including shipping and the possibility of 17.5% customs.That's quite a big saving.
Any UKers done this to save a few quid? Is there any problems I might face if I need to return it ect?

I used them when I got my first gen MacBook Pro a year or so ago.

Unfortunately, the shipping company phoned me and asked me to pay the customs charges up front (and I think they also charged for the pleasure), so the saving wasn't as great as it could have been.

That was a while ago though, so things may have improved.

Wow, the price of memory has shot up.

I got a pair of matched 2GB sodimms in August for my MBP and they only cost £58 each. Now the same are £19 more each from the same retailer.

A little cheaper than Crucial, and these work fine with Macs. No need to pay for "premium" modules.

I emailed OWC about this a while ago. Apparently shipping is £25 to the UK :O

Err... no that's the standard procedure on overseas imports -- you will pay VAT, any duties, and a brokerage fee for the paperwork, and that's payable in advance before your package is released to you.

Order from within the uk, it will get to you faster and be cheaper in the long run
