As per title really - From the tone of voice I got when i asked at an Apple store, they clearly don't sell these for the iPad, however I'm sick of the plastic film the iPad2 comes with.

Can I buy a decent protector in a shop or is it online only?

I read on the forum that Currys tried selling someone a screen protector for £15, so maybe try them.

I'm looking for one too!

Don't do it

Please don't buy a screen protector. Ive owned iPhones, the 1st gen iPad and now onto the 2nd gen iPad and I have never used a screen protector.

You really don't need one, trust me, you're wasting your money.

I don't use one for my iPhone 4 (bought one but got rid of it) so I understand what you mean, was just thinking with a bigger screen, it could be more likely to get scratches. In all likelihood, what I probably want is some kind of slip cover so I can put it in a bag with other stuff.
