Nobody knows really. I haven't heard of any rumours, but then again I'm not close to anybody on the inside. If you really need a display, there are antiglare films that can be purchased to make your monitor matte.

Edit: I just realized you didn't specify what brand. I'd assumed you meant an Apple Cinema Display. My apologies.

Actually yes, Samsung is about to release the 27" PLS 2560x1440 SA850. It looks like a beast, and a potential ACD27"/U2711 killer.

Yea I meant the cinema display. It's a beautiful monitor. Just asking and not planning to buy a IPS monitor until way later.
