Any use a SoundBar with iMac?

I dont really have room on my desk for speakers to the left or right of the screen. The only space i have is really under the iMac.

So I was looking at this:

It's an interesting idea.

I have a similar dilemma, no real room on my desk for speakers - I have the Mac Mini and dual Dell 20" monitors. I don't want to wall mount because I rent.

That sound bar is about 41" wide, and would pretty much create a "Shelf" all the way across the back of my desk - both monitors and the Mac Mini would fit on it. With the non-adjustable iMac you would be elevating your computer by over 9", is that practical for you? My monitors are adjustable height so the 9" elevation is workable for me, I've got them extended to max height now and they're still a bit lower than ideal; with the Sound Bar they'd end up about 4" higher than they are now.

It has Toslink input and I already have this cable: http://amzn.com/B0002JFN1A so that would work fine with the Mini (or the iMac).

It's overkill, but the price isn't terrible. If you end up getting it I'd be curious what you think. You've got me thinking in a new direction anyway...

I place the two speakers behind the monitor so that solved my problem.
