I have stuffit 11 and The Unarchiver both installed on my MBP (Lion).....is there any use for these any more? Do they do anything that the os doesnt do? Just trying to cleanup if I can....thanks.

The Unarchiver can open RAR and other compressed archives the OS cannot extract on its own.
As for StuffIt, I rarely come upon SIT files nowadays, thus do not install StuffIt Expander anymore.

Thanks. :)

Ive always used "command+O" to unzip stuff with Stuffit Expander....will I lose this key command if I use the os unzipping feature? I dont want to slow down ..

Command + O is just the command to open a file so it should open(unpack) the zip file
