So I just bought a used iPhone X off Gazelle and was wondering if any company allows you to get warranty for used phones. I already know Applecare won’t allow it but what about SquareTrade or Upsie? Any recommendations if even those don’t work. Thanks in advance.

It's a used phone that has not been certified by anybody credible. The phone could have been replaced with non-original parts. No major company will provide a warranty in this case.

You are your own policyholder.

I'm not so sure that SquareTrade will warrant it at all. I purchased a brand new iPhone from a seller on Amazon. The phone did not have an Apple warranty. I had to provide a copy of the original sales receipt and phone condition before SquareTrade would issue a warranty.

They will give you crap and won’t honor it, at least that’s what happened to me, saying for the coverage to be redeemable only if when the time you sign up to them you had a preexisting coverage by another insurance or warranty
