Well long story short I sold my 3g in anticipation for the iPhone 4 and now I am using the original 2g. It turns out there is a small square area on the 2g's screen that doesnt response to the touch sensor and now my phone is constantly asking me for my visual voicmeail password and I can neither press cancel or enter it. As you may know I cant press the home button, restart, power off and I have restored the phone so it is now rendered useless.

I am just wondering if there is any way I can completely disable the visual voice mail feature so I wont have to carry around a brick more or less. My phone is jailbroken so there can be more options. I read somewhere that I add a line in a carrier.plist but I am not sure how that works.

Any help is appreciated.
