Any way I can fake my findmyiphone location?

Okay dont start trolling here please, I usually have nothing to hide and from my parents but now I do. I am shopping around to buy a house, but I dont want them to know right now unfortunately my mom uses the find my iphone app a lot. If she see's me at weird places shes gonna start asking questions. Does anybody know a way to fake the mobileme location?

Disabling it would be too easy, and shes not stupid she would ask questions too. lol please help me, I want it to show as if I am at work, when it fact I'm shopping around for houses.

if you're old enough to buy a house, why is she spying on you? Just change you iTunes user pass code

im only 20yo, I've recently won quite a bit of money. I'm not moving out, Im moving my whole family to a better home.

My mom keeps track of her 7 children with this app because it's just easier than calling or texting everyone. So no changing the password is not an option.

You can do it via jailbreaking or you can leave your iPhone where you're supposed to be.

Your mom needs a hobby. Sorry, but that is not healthy especially tracking a 20 year old. The only way that you are going to stop it is to disable the service or change your password.
 
I second the just leave your iPhone somewhere you should be idea, or turn it off and say it ran out off battery.

leaving the phone behind is not an option. Can you tell me how to accomplish this with the jailbreak? All the apps I know about will let you spoof an app-specific location.

Please stop. I really don't want this thread to turn into a "let's analyze iFanaddic's personal life" if you don't know about a way to do this just don't reply and let this thread die. I never said my mom was checking my location 50 times a day. She can look at it 1-5 times a day, usually making sure my younger siblings got to school/work safely.

didn't think of that, might be a last resort solution but I was thinking of something more like a hack or mod. thanks

Nice try, but I'm visiting houses in an area of the town that is under development. Houses in this area are not ready to live in lol.
 
Well what can I say... I'm kinda glad my mum lives in Italy and doesn't have a clue what find my iPhone is. I'm sure she would find it useful however as I'm one of ten children.

There is an app in Cydia called FakeLocation. I can't remember how much it costs ($2.99, IIRC). I'm not sure if it'll work with FindMyiPhone but it's worth a shot.

If you win a bit money, just buy a new iphone, stick your sim into your new iphone, leave your old one at home and your mom will see you are at home all the time.
 
FakeLocation

a couple of years ago I used a app for a jailbroken device called "FakeLocation". I used this to fake the location of my phone so I can watch my local team on the MLB app. Don't know if it will work with the find my Iphone feature but it's worth a try.

Edit: just saw the above post saying it doesn't work. : (
 
You can try locationholic. I just install it from Cydia. It works well as you want.
