Sorry, kinda bad title, i have no idea what it's called so yeah:

In Finder, you can start typing to quick find the folder or file you are looking for, like if i have 100 folders, one of them is called "MacRumors", i can just start typing m-a-c & boom, the folder is highlighter

Great feature but i find the "key repeat" or key follow up speed threshold to short, if i do m-a...<pause for 0.1s>-c then it will start looking for folder or files starting with c instead of following the m-a-c pattern

So, is there any terminal command to increase that threshold speed so i can pause for up to 0.5-1s between letters?

There must be a setting you've changed. Mine takes several seconds before displaying results, so I can pause and type another character, and it waits.

I assume you are talking about the search box in Finder? If so, that's not what i am talking about, i am talking about just starting typing in Finder, not using the search box
