Any way to adjust SMS tone & Ringtone volume separately?

Basically I want my SMS tone quiet, but my ringtone loud.

Is there any way to achieve this without creating a silent SMS tone?

I hate how you can't adjust the volumes correctly...

When I'm at work, if I lower the volume using the exterior buttons, it only lowers the ringtone volume, but the notification tones are still loud. On my Android, there was an option to link them so that the volume would affect both... I can't find any such thing on my iPhone

You could upload quieter audio files for SMS.
