Any way to change an iPhones IMEI?

IS THERE ANYWAY TO CHANGE THE IPHONE 3GS IMEI NUMBER.

note: the iphone is not stolen (im seriouse)
 
There are ways to change it, this not strictly legal. Try searching Google for further advice.

this is what happend.. my aunty has an iphone and in australia they are like900 dollars each anywayy... she wanted to give her iphone to her husband and use her phone insurance to get another one. so she called the insurance and told them that her phone had got stollen she had to pay 200 eccess and they gave her a new phone...

BUT what she didnt know is that the carrie blocked the phones serial number..

she though if she took out the simcard it wouldnt blockkk

so now her husband wants to use her old iphone and it is blocked..
 
I'm sorry, but I don't think you'll find many people on here that will be willing to help you. It is against MR's policy to discuss illegal activities on here, and anyone who does help you would be an accomplice to your aunt's committal of insurance fraud. I just hope she somehow learns her lesson from this and realises that nothing can be gained by dishonesty and deceit.
 
As far as I know, it's no longer possible to change IMEI. It used to be on the 2G with 1.1.x but never since.

I guess you'll have to sell it to someone in the USA or somewhere where the IMEI is not blocked.
