Hi,

Noticed in 10.14 light mode that light grey for fonts on the UI was actually lighter than <10.13. You can easily notice this if you choose to show filesystem path on Finder. Or even on iMessage on the left side when you read preview of your last text message.

They probably did this to contrast with Dark mode, but why the hell would Apple change the way "light mode" is ? I want the exact same UI as before, the light grey is too light and killing my eyes.
 
meanwhile the blinding white font on dark mode contrasts so much against the black interface. they should have made the text more grey or make the black less dark
 
Agreed... This extreme White text on dark mode kills dark mode for me. The dark mode itself is fine, but when there is text, specially browsing the Finder, it looks terrible.
