Any way to change the spot that TextEdit opens on the desktop?

I have a TextEdit file that I use frequently. By default it opens on the left side of the desktop. Every time I open it I have to move it to the right side of my desktop. Is there any way to make it open on the right side of the desktop by default? Maybe a terminal command?
