any way to disable split view in the mail app while in landscape mode? on the 6+

If you put the display in "zoomed" mode it will no longer split any of the app screens.

There's a button with two arrows pointing outward. Tapping that will zoom the email window to full screen. It'll go back to two column mode when you tap again.

But no way to close out the two column view when showing the list view.
