Any Way to Disable the Downloads Window in Safari?

Its pretty annoying (at least for me) to have the downloads window pop up everytime I download a file in safari, is there any way to disable it? or at least make it close itself automatically everytime the download has been finished?

SafariStand allows you to set it to auto-close with delay of 5-60 seconds. It does lots of other cool things, too. And it's free!

(Make sure you download the proper version depending on whether you have Safari 2 or 3.
