This 'feature' is driving me up the wall. I use a cellular Apple Watch (and Mac) to do most of my messages and phone calls and such, only using the iPhone sparingly (iPhone 12) so the phone sits on the charger most of the time. The issue is that when my phone does this 'thing' it basically disables all wireless communication thus breaking handoff/continuity between my Watch and Mac so I don't receive any messages from some contacts and basically today I tried to send a 'hey how are you' to my girl from my Mac and it said 'not delivered !' and I thought 'wtf?' and I checked my phone after trying again and failing twice. My phone had basically rebooted itself and was in the equivalent of Airplane Mode (even though it shows 5G up top, it should be on Wifi no matter what). I unlocked it and suddenly got a slew of texts from her asking where I was and if I were ok. She sent messages and didn't get a response, but I never knew I had any because the frelling phone basically broke continuity AGAIN!
Is there ANY way to disable this crazy feature I never asked for?! I'm open to jailbreaking if I must. Basically in the past everything 'just worked' and I never had to worry about if my Mac would receive/send messages or if Siri on the Apple Watch could do the same.
