Hi, I thought I had read somewhere that the startup chime was no longer able to be enabled via terminal. I tried the sudo nvram bootaudio thing and it did nothing. I did use the full command I just forget it from memory. Any one else had any luck with this?

I could be wrong, and others will correct me, but...

I believe that trick was possible with the 2016 MBP's, and possibly with the 2017's as well.

But for 2018 and later, the startup sound may have been been "removed entirely".
It can't be enabled because it just isn't there any more.
It's that way on my 2018 Mini.
