So I am staying at my girlfriend's parents' house for a while, and they have wireless internet set up with a Linksys router. The problem is that the signal is not strong enough to reach all parts of the house, and it randomly disconnects my macs, particularly if someone is using the internet with a PC at the same time. I bought an Airport Extreme thinking that I would extend the network, but it turns out the new versions don't support WDS, and I haven't yet been able to figure out any other way to use it. I would use it as the primary router obviously, but they have set up their heater system so that it is configured over the network, and they also have a signal booster set up which i dont know how works. So, on the Apple site it says that you can't extend a 3rd party wirelessly, but I was hoping maybe someone knew of a trick or an 'unofficial' way to do it?

Cheers
