Expecting an inportant email, is there anyway to force the Apple Watch to keep notifying me I have an email, until I read it? I might be asleep and want to wake up for it.
Thanks
Thanks
Strange isn’t it that messages can be set to repeat up to 10 times but not emails (stock app or otherwise). Not sure what you want to do is possible. With messages you can select to have it repeat up to 10 times but don’t see the option with email. If this is a one time thing, could you just a select a really annoying email alert tone and crank up the notification volume on your phone until you get that email? That would probably be more effective.

Yes, its a lack of consistency from Apple, selectable repeat notifications need to be on Email (stock app and available to non stock apps) and Calendar Alarms. Messages seem to get special treatment, you can use a keyboard on Apple watch to reply to messages, but not email. Hope these get fixed in iOS14 and watchOS 7.I’d like that option for everything, especially calendar alarms. I’m now using Alarms because it only turns off with a stop button.
I certainly would like the option. It could easily be turned off by default as the Message repeat notifications are. Unfortunately, in this case, I had no idea when/or if the mail would come, so was unable to set an alarm. While I can understand the reason you want this, it's probably an isolated instance even for you - do you really want to get constant notifications for low-priority email messages (or spam) until you attend to them?
I'd guess most people would find this so annoying that they'd disable it, and start posting here about how useless/annoying the setting is (and questioning Apple's sanity). And for those who have a tendency to play with their settings without really thinking about what they're doing (like adults who enable Content & Privacy Restrictions when children never touch their phones/iPads).... forget about it!
Since this is a single email message, what I'd suggest is to set a separate Reminder or Alarm. In other words, treat it like an appointment, rather than a piece of email.
