When I open Waze, it knows the addresses of upcoming appointments (via Calendar sync), so I can easily route to them.

Occasionally, I'll open the Maps app instead of Waze, and expect address(es) of next appts. to be populated as options at the bottom (where it displays addresses of recent searches, etc.). But it doesn't seem to do this, even though it's a stock app and should be able to access my Calendar data. Any way to make this happen? Thx

Waze has a setting - it may be enabled by default - that allows this. Unless Apple Maps adds this option, no, you can't do it.

What I do is add the address for the 'event' in the calendar entry, then open the event and tap the address.
