The iMac has 2 small (less than an inch) darker smudges on the screen towards bottom left corner. Really only visible on white background. I thought at first it's surface dirt but it's in the glass. I will be opening up the iMac to upgrade to SSD, is there anything I can do to get rid of these patches? I would post a pic but my phone camera captures lines on the screen which make the patch hard to make out.

Just bumping this up. I've now taken the iMac apart to put the ssd in, an I'm debating with myself whether I should attempt to open up the display and see if there is any dust under the glass panel,or leave it. I've searched everywhere and the few videos that are there are not great and not for exactly this model, so I'm not too confident about doing it. Specifically not sure about the tape that goes around the back of the lcd and how to handle/replace that. As seen in 1st photo, part of it is not sticking anymore, but the dark patch is at the bottom left corner, and the bottom is sealed with a black tape (2nd pic). Edit: iMac late 2013 27"
