iPad Any way to get rid of badge from Settings (under 6.0.1)

I bought a new iPad (Retina + Lightning) and restored a backup from my older iPad to it. However, the backup was made when my old iPad was on 5.1.1 and had the "1" badge on it, and that seems to have stayed with me.

Is there a way to get rid of the badge in OS6? The iPad is already on 6.0.1. I would rather not redownload everything since that means I need to bring my documents again.
