I'm surprised this isn't something iOS has by default for those of us with kids. After finding my 4 year old rockin out to some gangsta rap I decided youtube would not be an option for her anymore. I installed YTkids for her and that seems much better. Of course she figured out where I buried youtube in some nested folders and I had to uninstall it. But I don't want to uninstall it, I just want control of when she uses it. I know about guided access, but don't want to restrict her only to one app.

I have restrictions enabled, but there is no app by app restriction or a way to password protect a folder. It's been a while since I've looked into this, but is there any way to lock an app and/or a folder?
