Hi
I am recent switcher.
In Windows, if you open an application it automatically minimizes to the taskbar and you can switch between open apps and documents by simply clicking on the taskbar.

The OS X dock is application based and the best work around i have found is using expose.

Is there anyway to make it work like the taskbar?

Hi!

You could use Witch, from the great guys at Many Tricks.

It acts like the command-tab application switcher, but add all open windows to the list. Witch has like a ton of features, enabling you to customize the heck out of this thing.

Hope this was helpful.

the Mac OS X way:

bring an application to the front by either click on one of the its windows, clicking its dock icon or command-tabbing to the application and switch windows/documents by using Exposé (application windows) which is F10 on my keyboard or press "command+` (key below esc)"
