Since I am not interested in Windows on a Mac or Mac Programming forums, any way I could exclude them so they won't show. It's like pretending they are deleted and not there.
Please give some good advice. Thank you.

If you use Forum Spy you can filter out unwanted threads with the preferences.
 
On the main forum page you can click the silver/grey oval button on the right hand top of each forum to close it...
 
You can collapse certain catagories like, News and Article Discussion, Apple Software, Special Interests, etc. by clicking the 'jelly bean' (
collapse_tcat.gif
). Which simply hides a catagory.
 
I think what the op is saying is that he wants to get rid of all traces of the forum not just forum spy or new posts. If I hide the political forums in the spy but then I click into the community forums I still see the links to the political.
