Apps Any way to put streaming from AT onto DVD or ipad to view off wifi?

OOPS! Wrong forum... meant for this to go in the main AppleTV forum and got it into the apps subforum....

Is there a DVR that can be used with AppleTV and either put the show onto a DVD-RW so that the show can be ripped and played on a computer or downloaded onto an ipad/iphone so it can be viewed offline (in the car, etc.)

You are running into encryption/licensing issues for streaming shows so it cannot be discussed here.

You can just purchase/rent a copy of the show on iTunes and download it to your iPad/iPhone before going on the road.
