Any way to put the "swipe down from top" back to the way it was

Where it had a combined lock screen (notifications) and search? Now all it does is bring up your "non locked" lock screen.

Scratch that, I know what you mean. But search still functions the same way by swiping down.

from the center yes, but i have been using it from swiping down from top for YEARS....so i'm more used to doing it this method.
