Any way to remap 'lock' key on magic keyboard with M1 imac?

I want to remap the annoying 'lock' key to forward delete. Is there any way to do this?

I installed Karabiner but there does not appear to be any option to remap the 'lock' key in it. Am i missing something?

It took me a minute to realize what you're talking about. I gather you have the non-Touch ID version of the 2021 Magic Keyboard. It looks like it's a normal key (unlike the Touch ID sensor) so maybe the Karabiner developers will get around to addressing it at some point. I'd suggest making a feature request with them, if someone hasn't already.

Yep its the key in the top right, above the backspace. Ill suggest that, hopefully they can update.

Im used to this being forward delete and find the keyboard pretty much unusable as I am constantly locking the screen instead of deleting.

You could also just learn to use the Mac's standard forward delete keystroke (fn-del). I know it's a change, but you should be able to change your habit after just a few days of trying.
