Pages 4.3 was the last good version of Pages (iWork). It let you select non-contiguous text by holding down the command key. You know, just like you can do in TextEdit or even Stickies? Makes office work a hell of a lot easier.

anyways, is there ANY way to get this software running on Apple Silicon? I'm willing to emulate or virtualize older versions of macOS (I think the last one that supports Pages 4.3 is Mojave, 10.14). I just need a way to run this software since Apple CBA'd to add back features they removed years ago.

I'm running Pages 4.3 on macOS Mojave, so that's indeed the last version it can be used with.

If you want to run it on Apple Silicon, you'll have to emulate an Intel Mac running macOS Mojave or an older version. However, the emulated Mac will not have graphics acceleration which Pages 4.3 requires. Running without graphics acceleration results in a solid-white window with no way to use the application IIRC.

So, your best bet is to use an older Intel Mac capable of running macOS Mojave or an older version (i.e. a Mac released in 2018 or earlier) and run Pages 4.3 on there.
