Any way to see a list of iPhone backups?

I don't want to restore my iPhone from a backup, I just want to see which backups I have, and from what date they're from. Thanks!

if you on a mac go to User/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

Thats where they are located

But it's just random files. It doesn't tell me the date of the backup.

Your iTunes preferences will have some info on backups. I think mine shows 3 or 4 different backups and their dates.
