Any way to show event notes on main page of stock calendar app?

I didn't title this thread very well. But I run the stock Apple calendar app on my phone and iPad. When I create an appointment, I sometimes add notes in the notes section. But when I go back to the main single day appointment view, there is no way to see those notes. Nor do I see an indication that I wrote notes for the appointment.

So, is there anyway to see notes I added to the appointment while on the on the main single day view of the calendar without having to open or tap on the event? Or at least see an indication that the appointment has notes in it while in the single day view of the calendar.
