Any way to stop Wifi from asking you to join a network?

I want wifi on so that when I am in range, it works.

But then when I am randomly walking through the city, I constantly get all these random wifi networks that it wants me to join. kind of annoying

Settings--->wifi--->ask to join networks...change to no

That's it.
