Any way to stream audio to both HomePod Minis and Google Nest Hub at same time?

Just seems to be like my smart speakers aren’t very smart! Surely there must be a way to do this by now. I can stream from phone to either easily just stumped at how to do both.

In order to stream over AirPlay to more than one speaker at once you need to use the newer AirPlay 2 protocol. Apple's HomePod definitely supports that. But it's possible the Google device does not which is probably the issue. If the device supports AP2, there will be a circle with a check in the Airplay selection box. If it doesn't support AP2, there will be no circle. It's a subtle UI cue.
