Any way to turn a 3GS into a wifi hotspot?

I have the new iphone 4 and was wondering rather than sell my 3gs, could any one help with information what would it require for me to get my 3gs to put out a wifi for my ipad. I have never unlocked or jailbreaked anything, but willing to try on this phone since its a standby phone.

If did unlock and jailbreak it, what would I have to do with ATT line to get the 3gs to work enough to do the hot spot for ipad. Thanks for any info.

check the newest version that works on 4.0. it connects as ad-hoc, which will only allow one device at a time. the old version was much better.
