Yeah, the title pretty much says it all. I just discovered last night that the Gmail chat feature doesn't work on the touch. Does anyone know of a web-based AIM solution or an Apple-sponsored app that lets you use AIM? Thanks.

I'm unable to get it to work on my iphone so i'd say no to the touch.

I'm curious, why not hack it?

Yeah, same question here -I can't think of a SINGLE reason not to hack the Touch, I mean it's completely and easily reversible, it transforms the Touch from a cool device into an incredibly useful one, and it's totally free.

Why wouldn't you hack it?

Meebo. I use it all the time. You can log on to a variety of chat things.

(AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Google Talk)
This is a web based application, and doesn't involve any hacking, just wifi.
