CANADA? eh?
my parents are cheap and i have no cable now? anything that will let me watch some tv over the internet that is FREE?

yes...of course there is....i dont know if i can say anything thoug...

go to the networks web sites that you want to watch shows from, and some of them will stream episodes, otherwise if you can't find the shows you want we can't talk about other ways to aquire them, but google is your friend here.

If you have a PC (or bootcamp...), you can also use sopcast to watch live TV. I use it to catch NFL or MLB games.

Does Joost have anything interesting? Just quickly browsed its channels and programs and didn't find anything particularly interesting.

As for TV. If you have standard, you're pretty much set. Most of the stuff I watch on cable regularly is free online anyway, for example the Daily Show.

lots of american tv shows you can see online, at sites... but in Belgium, the most you can see is the news, or some tv shows of the national channel.
