Just wondering because I know 2.0 software leaked before it was supposed to come out and people were loading the 3G software on their 2G's causing lots of freezing and bugs.

If I grab 3.0 GM for my 3G, it will be the same *exact* thing as what's going to be released in a week? and there won't be any problems updating or anything?

I'll probably wait anyways but just curious

It should be fine - all iPhones will be compatible with 3.0.

That said, it's just a week away.

A bit buggy, but to be honest, the cut copy paste and other features more than make up for it.

I have faced no problems whatsoever. This is wayyy better than the betas. For me, it feels like it's the final version.

Sweet, i'll install today. Worst comes to worst, I'll restore if the final version is any different :D

I upgraded to 3.0 and I have had no problems at all. The only thing that concerns me is that there are no settings for push notification. I'm not sure if that will just be "pushed" to my phone when it's activated on Apple's end or if I'll have to upgrade again next week. Copy/cut/paste works well, and the overall experience is snappy.
