any ways to make the animations smother?

hey guys so as the tittle says i wanted to know is there any way to make these these animations smoother like when opening mission control and stuff its not that smooth! i have a early 2013 macbook pro 15"

install the app switchresx.
then change to a non-hidpi resolution.

this will turn off the 'retina-function' and from my experience the UI animations become much smoother.
