Any where to get Iphone 4 without contract?

Want to get a Iphone 4 but dont want to stick with their data plan,
anyone knew where to get a Iphone 4 without contract.
I knew their list price is same as 3gs, but I remember last yr in my area, which san francisco, they dont sell just the iphone 3gs itself.
If anyone knew how to get a iphone without contract, plz let me know

I was just on ATTs website preordering mine and they have a listing of no-contract prices, if you really want to pay a crapload more than the $199 price for 2 yr contract.

You must have money to burn to pay that much and then still have to pay the same monthly fee for service that I will.

I have friends who shelled out $529 for the Nexus One, $599 doesn't seem so bad right now lol.
