I get the Qi standard and all of that.
The Belkin/Mophie chargers says they can fast charge at 7.5 watts. The same looking chargers from these brands are also offered outside of Apple and advertise 15 watts.
Regardless, it seems that Apple has set the maximum at 7.5 watts.
Samsung quick chargers can charge at up to 15 watts with compatible devices. The same chargers only charge at 5 watts with a device that is not compatible with their quick charge.
Did I get all of that straight?
Is our option any brand/make/model at 5 watts OR buy the Belkin/Mophie at 7.5 watts (at least for now until other companies match what they are doing)
Or will another brand of "quick" still deliver 7.5 watts right now?
