From my understanding, Maps is developed by Apple using Google Maps data. Any idea when Apple will update Maps to include all the new features that the latest Mobile Goggle Maps has?

Second the question - have changes only been in the major releases, rather than the . releases?

I'd imagine they'd want it in pretty sharpish.

I just want to see them update it so the information is the same as google maps. They both will give me different directions, with google maps always giving the better ones. The maps app on the phone has many street names and locations wrong as well.

i use maps every saturday morning to get to garage sales. about a month ago, we headed to one way out in the sticks and i came to a road that wasn't there. streets showed it, satellite did not. strange......

Transit directions :( Every other stupid version of gmaps has this, but they're leaving it out on the iphone, great.

I'm pretty sure google has to optimize street view for the iPhone which sucks since i'm sure they won't for now because of Android releasing in weeks and having street view as a feature :/

I never use Streetview on my computer, so I don't care much about that feature for the iPhone.

I'd just be happy with Apple allowing more than 10 results to appear in Maps when searching for something (Korean restaurants, mechanics, etc.). That feature is pretty much useless when only 10 results appear.
