Any workaround for the no business AND personal contacts and calenders?

This was taken from Walt Mossberg's review:

"One drawback: While you can have both personal and Exchange email accounts on the new iPhone, if you synchronize with Exchange calendars and contacts, your personal calendar and contacts are erased."

Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Is there any kind of workaround for this?

Follow up:

Could my dad just copy the contacts onto a flash drive, and put them into outlook on a different computer? Is that the best way to work around this?
