I will be out in San Francisco next month
and like a tourist, I want to stop at the
Apple company store to buy some apparel
that can't be bought elsewhere.

Has anybody been to the company store?

How are their prices on apparel? Are they
ultra-expensive?

Perhaps provide some prices on stuff?

I would hope it would be a worthy visit
to see the Apple campus while buying some
clothing and nick-nacks like Apple logo mouse
pads, coffee cups, etc.

I haven't been (yet, currently planning January '10 trip),

but I've seen people post pics of their visits on flickr. I saw one from 2006 - apparantly the elusive mothership t-shirt cost $16.95 back then. I hope they haven't changed the prices much, there's so much cool stuff in there and I want it aaalll!

(must.not.spend.entire.vacation.budget.on.Apple.stuff...heeelppp.)

If anyone has accurate info about prices and what kind of stuff they have in their store, I'd really appreciate it. THANKS!!

EDIT: found THIS. *squee*

I live in the region, and strangely enough, I have been to the one in Palo Alto, the one in the Stanford University shopping mall, the one at San Jose's Valley Fair, the one in Monterey, and the Apple visitor and employees store at Apple Inc headquarters.

But I have never been to the one in Cupertino, unless you mean the one on the Apple campus. When I was there a few years ago, they were the only Apple store then that had T-shirts, pens, mouse pads, etc. But what they didn't have were a lot of non Apple things like Adobe software, MS Office for Mac, digital cameras, or games.
